Modern In Denver Features West Standard Design Build

West Standard Design Build is featured in the winter 2011 issue of Modern In Denver magazine. The four page article focuses on use of artificial grass in modern residential design. Subject of this article is the Huff Residence, a West Standard designed and built custom-home located in Denver’s Washington Park.

Owners David and Natalie Huff were interested in low-maintenance sustainable landscaping. Therefore, a xeriscape plan was designed utilizing indigenous plants, crushed rock, and artificial grass. The landscape requires no irrigation.

This image from the Modern In Denver article shows artificial grass in the Huff’s central courtyard.  The artificial grass lends an organic feel to the homes interior through a pair of 15′ glass doors.
